LOL at the people saying that Ortiz would have eventually won the fight. Are you serious? Did you actually watch the fight? Floyd won every round easily. And I am a Pacquiao fan! Cortez also said "Box!" before Floyd threw the punch. Was it a little cheap? Obviously. But it was completely legal. Ortiz wasn't complaining, so why are you?

The fight started of using fists. However Ortiz was getting his ass beat so he decided to bring a knife into it. Mayweather, being the G that he is, pulled out his gun and blasted the fool. He fought cheapness with ultimate cheapness. Hate all you want but try to put yourself in Mayweather's shoes first and see if you could have controlled your emotions. Sure it wasn't the professional or honorable thing to do but at the end of the day Ortiz brought a knife to a gun fight.

the headbutt was nowhere near the same level as the sucker punch. Head buts, low blows, elbows, happen all the time in the sport. Boxers get deducted. A sucker punch like that is akin to stabbing someone in the back back in response to a verbal insult.

So when Floyd did the exact same thing to Mosely it was all good and Floyd was commended by all of the commentators that were criticizing him for doing the same thing to Ortiz tonight. Emmanuel Stewart just sounded like a flat out hypocrite tonight. "Its not time to talk" is what Emmanuel Steward said of Mosley continually touching gloves and talking to Floyd after the ref had already brought the fighters back together to fight again. Now when he does it to Ortiz and knocks him out it supposedly unsportsmanlike behavior. And they never even mentioned once that Victor Ortiz deliberately headbutted Mayweather in the mouth. Why didn't Ortiz even try to block the second punch? Its almost like he wanted to get knocked out.

That's great to know that you don't have to wait for the ref to say box. Fighters should just go ahead and KO their opponents while they're on their stool between rounds.
