On the stoppage, I counted like 10 to 12 punches in a row landing for Canelo with no response from Gomez. In any fight a ref will stop the fight if the other fighters is not punching back and is getting punished, that's common practice and sense.

Canelo looked ok, Gomez gave him some trouble at times, but he never was really bothered he was just counter punching and trying new things. I dont see why so much hate lol, this dude is fighting 4 times a year and putting on good fights yet Miguel Cotto picks when he wants and who he wants to fight 2 times a year if we are lucky. What has Cotto done at 154 to establish himself more than Canelo? Ricardo Mayorga and Yuri Foreman? Cmon you cant be serious lol both of these fighters still gave Miguel trouble. Canelo is a good boxer with heavy hands, hes young, fresh, and hasnt taken too much punishment.
