Floyd can't match Berto's power to put Ortiz in that position in the first place, but it would've been over in the 6th.

The point is he didn't need a good jab or head and upper body movement to get the fight where he wanted. He wanted the fight on the inside and he got there despite it. His problem was that he couldn't do damage after he got there, Ortiz will do damage once he's there.

accuracy and speed, punches you dont see hurt the most =power man..and Hatton didnt get anywhere where he wanted..anyone can bull rush in and hold..thats not inside fighting..inside fighting is getting in at a certain distance and staying in..not falling in and holding

So what can Ortiz do? He can't do **** unless Floyd somehow slips as a result of being inactive, but judging from his training videos Ortiz is in for a BIG surprise. He thinks his physical strength will overwhelm Floyd, as well as his power, but his thoughts are wrong. Just like Mosley he will find out that it doesn't mean ****. You can't do ****, and Ortiz has ACTUALLY quit inside the ring, so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.
Hatton got clipped at a 39% rate (low for Floyd) and still didn't respect his power (should tell you something about Floyd's power, when he's on the back foot). Floyd punches are arm punches when he's backing up, Ortiz won't respect his power, he will continuously be on the attack and put Mayweather through the grinder. Can he win a majority of the rounds this way? Who knows, but he has a good chance at it.
