  • Rewatched Berto-Ortiz, now I know __________?

This fight was plain to see both were green and have alot of things that need to be worked on

    1-footwork
    2-defense
    3-head and upperbody movement
    4-body punching

both looked extremly green and need a new team around them..both have the potential to be major players in the game but lack alot of fundamentals

I actually just watched Ortiz-Berto Mayweather-Mosley back to back. I noticed Ortiz is a very quick starter. As in from when the bell rings he will jump on you. Then he quiets down as the rounds go on. Floyd is almost.......maybe this isn't the right word but I will use it......vulnerable the first few rounds. Until he fully downloads what you are doing he can be tagged if you throw the right shot. Victor HAS HAS HAS to jump on Floyd early to even have a chance. Noone will EVER beat Floyd by decision. He adjusts to well.

this is the issue..he JUMPS IN ON YOU..he uses no jab or intelligent movement..if he incorporated a good jab he'd be a much more effective fighter

i think that Danny is fine as long as him keeps improving Victors Game which he has the POSSIBILITY of doing. but yeah, Bertos trainer should have been fired LONG ago. he needs to wipe his stable clean and start over.

i mean their flaws are so damn obvious why let it linger on..these 2 have talent and are young but need additions to their teams to improve those flaws...

Larry you ever wondered maybe this was the reason why Floyd chose him?

Will be a good fight nonetheless.

in all honesty the ww division outside of manny has no better option....mannys fighting a lightweight in jmm and thats better than any other fight at ww outside of floyd and ortiz...............manny and floyd HAVE to fight each other next

We can agree to a certain point. But I'd say Amir Khan vs. Mayweather is a much better fight, much more risky too. But I don't discredit Floyd for his pick, all I'm saying is that Ortiz is not the biggest threat out there.
