What are you talking about? Floyd is fighting? Im buying this PPV because I heard Joe Cortez is the main attraction. He should just DQ both fighters and sing us a concert and some dancing. You guys jelous that people buy PPV's to see my dad, errr I mean Joe Cortez who is like totally the coolest ref ever, I mean fighters are honored just to share the ring with him, we tried saying to HBO and PPV that we dont need any fighters in the main event, my dad will entertain the crowd, but I guess they need to impress some people, but dont worry my dad has a few ideas how to ****e things up as he usually does.Comment

True. I mean, how can he be considered a "great" ref when he constantly breaks up fighters WHEN THEY'RE STILL ACTUALLY FIGHTING??? He does it in ALL his fights. It's pathetic, and he forces TOO much attention on HIMSELF (which is what I think he wants).
Side note: Another annoying thing this "firm but fair" man does is continually warning one fighter (while not taking off points), while taking points off immediately from another (with barely a warning at all). HE ISN'T CONSTISTANT in his "fair but firm" stance.Comment

I think Bayless or Smoger would've been better then Cortez but I think that after this fight ppl will be talking more about the fight instead of the referee. Hopefully
