So beat the only guy willing to fight Martinez all year, that Dibella wouldn't accept as an opponent for Martinez, and you can fight Martinez... I don't honestly believe Martinez is ducking Pirog, but it makes you wonder why they don't want any part of an unbeaten fighter with a "major title", who has appeared on HBO PPV. Instead they fight Daren Barker, who the Brits may not even know, let alone the Americans

unfortunately, with the small probability of a pac/may fight for serg, it isn't wise for him to fight the guy who can actually beat you. i hate a duck as much as the next fan, but Pirog is way too much of a threat for martinez right now.

i hope everyone realizes martinez is a ducking fraud by now. dibella is a great promoter and keeps landing big paydays for his guys against complete nobodies on hbo. impressive. he's even setting up martinez-lee next. genius at work!

The thing is too, I don't even think Quillin or Pirog could beat Martinez. Which is why I don't know what Dibella is so worried about. Golovkin in my mind is Martinez's toughest challenge. And it's a damn shame he don't call Sergio out like those other guys do.

yeah that's what he said. when asked if quillin could fight macklin and he said "it wouldn't make sense financially" as if macklin is some cashcow all of a sudden

He became a Dibella fighter a few months ago after the Sturm fight. If anything, Macklin will end up being Martinez' next opponent. Better than Andy Lee at least.
