Jean Marc Mormeck's Boxrec has already been updated with the Klitschko fight. Damn. I was hoping for Barrett to get the shot, but whatever? Seeing Wlad knock Mormeck the **** out wont will still be relatively enjoyable.

Ahhhh understandable. Why pay money to the WBO when the WBC champ is going beat him into retirement.

Mormeck was chosen as a last resort. Wlad offered several HWs the shot at all his titles.

Dimitrenko and Arreola said "next year", Povetkin and Helenius never replied, and Fury said he need a few more fights first.

I don't blame Fury and Helenius for turning it down, but Povetkin, Dimitrenko and Arreola should have agreed to it.

Povetkin ducking Wlad to fight Holyfield is pathetic.

Ehh Arreola knows he needs a lot more work if he wants to put on any sort of a respectable performance against Wlad. As he said a few months ago, something like; "I'm hungry again. Only this time it's for world titles instead of burritos and tacos and ****!" I commend him for not taking the short money and showing up to lose.

Povetkin is fine with being a joke, I guess. I will hope and pray Holyfield's old ass beat Povetkin and ruins his career. I was really pulling for Chagaev too.

The three people I'd most like to see Wlad fight are ranked #1, #2 and #3.

I see Amir Mansour and Luis Ortiz have been added, and some decent heavyweights like Ondrej Pala and Kubrat Pulev are still in there.

this is exactly what i always stress when talking about regional belts.every boxer owning a WBO regional belt gets a top 15 ranking...nabo(north america), latino(latin america), europe, asian pacific & wbo oriental, africa but the WBO intercontinental belt is the belt that is the most important regional title as it's rankings cover all regions. these regional belts are very important.this is why all these 40 year old HW still fight. all you need to do is win a couple of regional belts & you are in the mix, especially if you have a name.

Seth Mitchell will be given a ranking before long. He stopped a fat bum in round three tonight:

Seth “Mayhem” Mitchell (23-0-1, 17 KOs) remained undefeated in a third round TKO win over Hector Ferreryo (21-11-2, 12 KOs) on Friday night at Texas Station Casino in Las Vegas.

The monster from Maryland teed off on Ferreryo from the opening bell, stinging the Texan with body shots. A final flurry on the face of a badly beaten Ferreryo forced the stoppage.

An apparently confused Fereryo protested the finish, but with one eye closed, the stoppage was more than justified. Official time was 2:17.

However, why the isn't David Haye in these rankings when he holds no title and has wins over Monte and Mormeck?

I think the IBF has it pretty much perfect. Just need to push Thompson much further down the list and rank Banks outside the top 15. Toss in Amir Mansour. Banks hasn't done **** knock out Travis Walker. In fact, Walker's done a lot more since that fight than Banks has.
