No, he should stay on the outside and outbox floyd

of course he needs to get on the inside. The problem is I don't think he has the right tools to do it efficiently and be able to stay there.

ortiz will get punish by floyd's elbows if he plans to fight inside...maybe that's why garcia was appealing to floyd to fight clean

We all know Cortez is going to show favoritism towards Mayweather. It's how Victor deals with that favoritisim. I doubt very much Cortez lets Victor fight on the inside. He will jump in between them as much as possible. Cortez will keep this from being what could be a great fight.

Bad Gameplan but Hatton had some success effectively getting inside on Floyd he couldn't land nothing big because Floyd smothered his punches he will do the same thing to Ortiz when he gets inside plus we all know Cortez is going to break them up anyway I hope he has a plan b

We're going to get inside. If we have to move, we move. If Victor goes inside, Floyd can't counter-punch on the inside. He can in the middle distance or the outside. Inside, that's our fight. He's got problems, because Victor hits hard with the upper-cut, with short hooks. That's our best chance. He says that he's not going to run, that he's going to stay in front of Victor. How can he stay in front of Victor and not get hurt? He's going to feel Victor's punches and he's going to have to run. He likes to run. He never stays in front of an opponent. If he shows his back, we're going to hit him on his back, because that's his fault. The ref should know that if he turns his back, the punches are still coming."

Danny Garcia said his fighter will not make the mistake of showing Floyd Mayweather 'too much respect' in Las Vegas

              Good plan or not?
              This is Floyd-Gatti repeat.
Firstly that what Mayweather has been training for
Floyd has the best inside game there's because Ortiz wont land anything. This will be a beat down.
Ellerbe has already said Mayweather will be on the centre of the ring.Reason is simple,he doesnt want the judges to think Ortiz's landing anything when he's on the ropes (just like DelaHoya did)
Ortiz's best chance is the jab early but those chances will quickly fly away.

I cant wait for this fight, finally someone was talking so much crap when he hasnt won anything in boxing yet,it's pay back time

lol wut? You do know the jab helps you get inside too right? A straight right is better for keeping somebody away. When Oscar used the jab on Floyd he was successful. When didn't he just walked into shots.

Oscar jab was successful until Mayweather started countering the jab.Floyd brings an overhand to the jab until you stop throwing it.
