never going to happen even if martinez chops off an arm and gets to 147.

Neither floyd nor pac will fight him.

Go and fight Bute at 164/166 and *** off calling out welterweights who are 13lb south of you. Go up 4lbs and make bank against Bute and gain more credibility.

I don't think Pac's team is going to risk fighting at 150 again. Margarito did a lot of damage, he's almost broken Pac's ribs.

Seeing actually more chance for Floyd-Martinez @154, but still small. Floyd would only move up for a really lucrative opportunity.

I don't even think he could get much money if he went up and fought Bute...who would care about it except people like us posting on boxing forums? If he went down to 150 Pac would wreck him 9 times out of 10...he is a beast, but he isn't that much of a beast.

edit: And I love Bute...one of my favorite fighters, but he can't even get Sergio money...let alone Pac-May monies!

i think both pac and floyd should fight sergio at 154. I'm just being realistic.

They would both be underdog or at best a very slight favorite. They're like a franchise now, and they're treated like a brand. Not fighters.

so floyd and pac can fight for titles at 154, but not martinez who is a career 154lbs fighter?

You're acting like martinez didn't do just that. Move up to fight a much bigger man.
Kelly Pavliks size advantage over Martinez is larger than Martinez advantage over Floyd or pac.

i would bet a substantial amount that bute makes more money than sergio.
