doubt it. Even if he is the truth there is no one for him to fight at 130 that would put him on the pound 4 pound list. The only guy will be Gamboa and if he fights Gamboa he's getting knocked out or lose a wide decision. So he'll have to avoid him, then go up to 135 to chase bigger names and there are some really good pressure fighters there that will give him fits, I mean if Ponce arguably beat him he's in trouble at 135.

But somehow the performance that Gamboa put on was supposed to be a convincing victory? Wow. Gamboa didn't do **** in that fight. Broner dominated Ponce De Leon! Gamboa ran and barely sc****d by on each round. How on earth do get out of the weak performance that Gamboa just put forth against the common opponent that Gamboa even has a chance against Broner. i never said anything about a p4p list. hes a good fighter tho. and losing to ponce the way he did at 21 is nothing to be ashamed of anyways. he has plenty of time for improvement.

now im not defending him fighting on hbo, altho i like him and dont mind it, u have every right to be upset.

with that said, ppl cant in their right mind compare a guy whos 21 and fighting a b caliber fighter like ponce to berto. ponce is agrguably better than anyone berto has ever fought with the exception of ortiz and maybe collazo.

The only problem is that he beat Ponce easy. A lot easier that Yuriorkis Gamboa did. You would have to be either blind or Mexican to really believe that Ponce De Leon was ever even really in the fight against Broner. The 8th round. Because Broner didn't really do anything? Okay if that is what this whole argument is being based on then answer me one question. What did Ponce De Leon do in the 8th round cause it sure wasn't landing punches. What did Ponce do the whole fight that even gave him a round in that fight? The crowd sure cheered a lot A la' Mayweather - De la Hoya but where were the clean and effective punches. I didn't see any from Ponce De Leon. They all came from Adrien Broner. And clean and effective punches landed are the clearest indication of who is winning the fight.

I'm not about to let people who have some weird personal problem with a fighter discredit his accomplishments in the ring because they don't like the way he gets his hair brushed or how many children he has or what he said on twitter. Terdsak, a veteran of almost 50 fights, earned the right by beating a man making his career debut in his last fight.
