no disrespect but your crazy if you think Arum would even take the chance of putting my Boy Gamboa in with Broner or even Gary Russell...why the hell would he help one of them (who are both with Golden Boy) become a Superstar at the expense of one of his Top Fighters and likely his next BIG SUPERSTAR...how ever if JuanMa or Mikey Garcia beats Gamboa then that is a WIN WIN for Old Bob Arum because all of them are signed to Top Rank

Arum will keep Gamboa IN HOUSE just like he is doing with Pacquiao, and Gamboa will likely end up fight JuanMa, Mikey Garcia and maybe Nonito Donaire...Arum will talk down on Russell Jr (like he is already doing) as well as Broner...WHY? Because neither of them are with Top Rank! That is just how I see it!

As for who would win...Right Now Gamboa...in a few years if/when he continues to get better and Gamboa is a little older...WHO KNOWS!?!? I am not Biased so I can admit that I think Mikey Garcia, Adrien Broner, Gary Russell Jr. those 3 young guys will be a MAJOR THREAT IN THE FUTURE to not just Gamboa but anybody in and around 118-135 and yes that includes Donaire depending on how high he wants to move up

i never said anything about a p4p list. hes a good fighter tho. and losing to ponce the way he did at 21 is nothing to be ashamed of anyways. he has plenty of time for improvement.

now im not defending him fighting on hbo, altho i like him and dont mind it, u have every right to be upset.

with that said, ppl cant in their right mind compare a guy whos 21 and fighting a b caliber fighter like ponce to berto. ponce is agrguably better than anyone berto has ever fought with the exception of ortiz and maybe collazo.

Point taken. I understand he's young and has plenty of time to improve. I just have an issue when people are already labeling him a "future p4p star" etc. I'd like to see him prove something first.

Broner never loss to Ponce, he won that fight. a clear victory in my eyes
