4.) He publicly stated that they will target a lesser name at 147 before Floyd

Khan publicly stated that he is not ready for Mayweather, will fight once more at 140, will have a warm-up at 147 before Mayweather, and look at being ready for Floyd by late 2012..... and Floyd came back and immediately fought the third best welter on the planet.

You don't get a Mayweather fight unless you start talking about him in the public. Look at how long Mosley waited for his shot until he confronted Floyd in public.

Why did Pac need a 2nd negotiation? Floyd was ready to fight. Pac wasn't bottomline.

Poor excuse. Pac was supposed to fight Floyd in March not Clottey. Instead of putting some of that energy into a Clottey fight, Pac should have put all of that focus and energy into making the fight with Floyd.

Is it Pac's fault that mayweather demanded the OST, without having a shred of evidence that pac was using PEDS? For all the steroid experts out there, could you enlighten me on exactly which PEDS pac is apparently using? I repeat: Pac has never tested positive for any PEDS, and that includes the very very random blood test they gave him before the morales fight.

At the end of the day, he did not say no to it. He said he wanted a 24 day cutoff. Mayweather wanted a 14 day cutoff. Pac had a march fight date set and negotiations with Mayweather were going nowhere (evidenced by the fact that to this date, they are probably still no closer than they were back then)

You will say all pac had to do was agree to 14 days. All mayweather had to do was agree to 24 days. That's what is called a failed compromise.

Pac fought clottey, waited til mayweather beat mosley (note he did not go out and seek another opponent, he waited for mayweather) - told him 14 days was ok. According to Oscar de la hoya, the fight was "extremely close" to being made. Arum gave mayweather a deadline, and he did not meet it. A few days later mayweather went on vacation.
