In Ortiz, Floyd will have a very live and determined opponent in front of him and as he KO'd the offensive minded Hatton so too he will Victor. Opponents like Mosley, Oscar and even JMM didn't force or press the fight as much as I think Ortiz will. When Ortiz comes in swinging wildly he get countered with some clean punches that will eventually put him down...
Floyd is no warrior, he'll pitty-pat his way to a decision win on Saturday

in his defense tho Floyd last 6 opponents >>>> Wlad last 6 opponentHaye ran. He was just trying to SURVIVE after Wlad bloodied his nose in the 5th round.
Wlad KO/TKOs MOST of his opponents who are in survival mode (9 KOs/TKOs in his past 11 fights). Not easy to KO opponents when they are just trying to survive the distance.
Floyd wins decisions over boxers who are coming forward (only 1 KO/TKO in his past 6 fights).
I thought wlad fans would appreciate the technically skilled boxers and not be the warriors take punches to the face typeComment

of quality weight-mass? Possibly. More than 10 comfortably.
also 20lbs at 120-150 is much more detrimental than 20lbs at 200+++. Both %-wise, but you also give up a lot of mobility and speed for weight when you're that big and the extra strength doesn't scale as well as in the lower weights.Last edited by Barry Halls; 09-14-2011, 10:16 PM.Comment
