I think he'd come back with a vengeance, destroy Ortiz in the rematch & we'd finally get to see Pac v Floyd. I reckon Floyd would whip him & then retire & people would blame his loss on him being inactive & it wouldn't really affect his legacy.

It would show Floyd that boxing has to be his #1 priority and taking a fight once every 18 months aint enough to stay at the top of the game.

Maybe we'd see a better than ever PBF, but most likely we'd see him flee the sport, forever running from a fight with Paqioua.

I think not much though - I mean the only that can add to Mayweather's career now is Pacquiao - he already had an 154 belt - so even moving up with make no sense... I mean for both - they careers have been so great that only thing that would add onto is fighting each other...

But like I said - Pacquiao or Mayweather won't loose to anyone right now - they both too good - many talk about Mayweather maybe loosing some of his speed and stuff - but Mayweather is no Roy Jones... Mayweather knows the fight game in and out - he beats opponents with his brain like B-Hop does - so you have to be a very special fighter to beat Floyd or Pacquiao - they at a point where they only can beat each other - I don't know - there are some nice match ups against young fighters - but right now Bradley, Khan and and and all interesting but I don't think they can... Khan could be the only one who could make something like a megafight because he has the fanbase and promotion but it will take some two years probably and some very good victiories...

Legacy wise he is said - best or second best 130 pounder of all time - fought nothing but champions, some hall of famers and and and - 5 division champion... one of the most dominating fighters every over such a long period - if you call him a cherry picker I say, well that I would love to have his record and everyone else of his or the next generation would want too (with the exception of a very few of course) - he will be in the Hall of Fame and will be at least the second best fighter of his time and era... probably I said before the best defensive minded offensive fighter we ever witnessed

I think it would be a good thing. We might see some humility and hunger return. He has the talent to beat anyone and losing the zero may actually release him from that burden of 'safety first' in his approach. I think he would become an even better fighter.

Depends, he could end up like Jones, or end up like Martinez.
