Kills me to say it but they'll probably feed him to some top guy 140, or maybe not, maybe they won't gamble with him again.

Lol at the 'thyroid problem claim'.

Guzman's own nutritionist said in an interview that the guy was sneaking fizzy drinks into his room and hiding them from his coaching team. This article says the the doctor checked and found no problem with him. Yet they still want to put his weight issues down to a thyroid problem

Maybe his speed and reflexes have slowed a bit, but he hasnt taken much punishment in his career and he still has god given talent that would allow him to compete at the world class level still. His problem is weight if he can make a few comeback fights legit and on weight, then im sure he could give some people some good fights. Morales-Guzman would be cool, or how bout a rematch with Soto at 140 that would be interesting and very possible. Khan might be a bit too big and fresh for him, but he is moving up soon anyways, and by the time Guzman would be worthy of a shot there will be 2 belts available possibly vacant

Its not the only thing that's over. His career is over too. Save the optimism for the fans that lack knowledge or are patriotically blind. Give him a bat and let him DH.....lol

The weight of 144 pounds, which is which has made his last two bouts, Guzman has looked much more hitter that between 130 and 140. In his fight against Funeka, we saw how limited the ofenciva your stuck Funeka more shy than pike. Funeka remember that weight almost 150 pounds that night. In his fight with Davis, and all we could see the anatomy of Davis reacted when de Guzman was hit and when in the second round, despite not being hit to the head and clear the liver, his corner decided to end the fight it and looked beaten.

Guzman certainly no speed or movement poseela gave him an advantage against any fighter of those weights. However, another resource that has only increased with time and intelligence. Few fighters of today are smarter than Guzman in the ring and if your body can move and react to 75% of what he did in his prime, I think that even he can beat all that remains in the 140 and most of the 147 today.
