valero via late knockout in a classic

probably with blood streaming down his face

he was a very slick boxer when he wasn't going all offense and being open as **** to punches.

the best footage of valero in terms of a display of his skills come from the gym

there's great footage of him sparring very good fighters and giving them a very hard time

he knocked out urbano antillon in sparring on maxboxings videos
sent his head around as bad as anybody i've ever seen in a sparring session. he was out on his feet and his corner stopped the session immediately.
you could not have timed a combination more perfectly.

I'm not sold on Valero as many others were. I think he was knockout waiting to happen when he truly stepped up the competition. My money would be on Rios.

he was a very young pro at the time.
there's actually lots of footage of him sparring all over the internet.

and antillon was a prospect and undefeated at the time. i think he had around 20 fights with a lot of knockouts

i doubt very much he had ever been hit like that before.
