This is one of the more reasonable things I've seen lately.

The question is: Who has looked amazing fighting the best?

This order sounds about right, although pac is only ahead of mayweather because of activity

I personally will have him at #1 because he has never "lost" that spot.
      ^^
      This right here.

Changes nothing really, I love Ortiz but he'll be no 42 who tried and failed. Always great to watch Floyd break down fighters in the ring regardless..

Intuitively, I'd just base it on the last few years of activity. I think there is a tendency in boxing to keep people on these lists for too long. I'd say 2 years of awesome performances against excellent opponents. How you weigh those two variables is up to you.

          At 9 or 10.

Misread the question, Mayweather should be #1 if he wins. I already have him at the top spot.

how do you justify mayweather going to number 2 when he beats ortiz? ortiz isnt even top ten. and if you look at todays welterweights, it isnt a hot division like it used to be.

skills wise we all know mayweather is right up there, probably the best, but a win over ortiz doesnt prove much imo.

Pacquiao definitely deserved it when Floyd left, but every time Floyd returns he fights better opponents. Not only that, but Floyd beat the same guys Manny's been beating, before Manny beat them.
yeah but pacquiao tko'd cotto. imo thats a better win than any welterweight win mayweather has.

#2 for sure. I think Ortiz would be a great win for him.
