I agree with the people who have said it’s not Mannys torch to pass on.

Also I think the options in the poll are terrible Rios and Ortiz but no Khan or Alvarez also Donaire is not young he is nearly 29 I would say he is in his prime right now.

Floyd's best wins...Hernandez, last fight of his career, Mosley, same old man Pac gets **** for beating, JMM LOL same aging vet, Of course he has some good notable wins (Coralles, Castillo for instance) but I doubt either get into HOF.

Pac and Floyd are also near the end of their respective ropes, Pac is probably closer himself due to his activity/style and for people like you, all it takes is one loss for these guys to go from the best to shot to ****.
I wouldn't ever say Manny is the best. Ever. So if he lost it would just confirm my su****ion that his "rise to stardom" was actually due to careful matchmaking and getting the right fights at the right time.

And I don't call fighters shot to **** if they lose once or twice or even even 20 times. I call them shot to **** if they are actually shot to ****.

Also, how can you call Corrales and Castillo just "good name opponents"? Fight of the Century but they were only "good name opponents." SMH.

So he is going to fight a live body before he retires? No more old, weight drained, zombies or fat orange sellers?

I'll be sure to watch that fight.

You cant discredit the Oscar or the Mosely wins for Floyd either, that discredits Pac even more since he fought them much later than FLoyd.

And I wasnt talking about his WW run. Im talking the pre-WW run. From David Diaz on back. There could have been lots of badass matches but he chose the right guys who would make him shine rather than clean up a single division.

You know why people loved Barrera, Morales and Marquez? They cleaned house.

Manny is cleaning up WW, but at catchweights.

              Not the same at all.
So you are one of the only few that thinks Manny really sucks... His status and his legacy are nothing.. Yeah I am sure people who really know **** about boxing would buy that.

Corrales and Castillo were good fighters, not great. They will probably not end up in the HOF (Corrales may since he died) and their FOT was so great because they were both balls to the walls warriors that went out on their feet. The fact that the fight was so close shows that they are of similar skill level, that's when you get great fights, two evenly matched opponents.

You sound like a hater looking for any reason to discredit him. 3 years ago you'd have been heckled out of here for claiming Pac "cherry picked his way". Yea the past couple years have been pretty lame but seriously, you cannot say he's been that way his entire career.

Im not looking at any reason. Im looking at a specific reason.

For not even attempting to clean up 130, 135 or 140. Jumping straight to 147, but about to have his 3rd catchweight fight on top of his senior tour.
