Manny has nice names on his resume but he beat most of the guys when they weren't prime or at the end of their ropes.

I'm not even going to go over Floyds resume with you.

All you have to do is answer this about their next opponents: Who is fighting someone in their physical prime and who is fighting an "aging vet"?

That tells you all you need to know.

Wouldn't he have to be fighting the young prime up and comers if he wanted to pass the torch? He hasn't fought any of these qualities for a LONG time...

Cotto was not at the end of his rope,,, I don't believe Margarito was either... Barrera was lb for lb no. 3 when Pacquiao fought him.. Clottey wasn't past his prime.... Now Marquez was fight that should have happened but the Marquez Floyd fought wasn't exactly prime Marquez neither, so was the DLH he fought, nor the Mosley... I give Floyd kudos for fighting Ortiz though.

            But...........
            Has Floyd ever fought Cotto????
            Has Floyd ever fought Margarito????

Obviously to a Pac hater, you would find reasons to discredit Manny's opponents but even Margarito's trainer and Cotto's trainer knew how good a shape and how sharp they were for their fights against Pacquiao...If you really are not biased, you would give Pac credit for his fights against those 2...

you are hating dude. Pacs career will be remembered and loved for his courage in and out the ring. he will be remembered as an all time great fighter, a humanitarian and a world icon. Floyd will be that guy that fought good and talked **** on 24 7.lol. his legacy wont be squat diddly compared to pac.

Out of Pac's best wins, your arugment can only really be applied to Morales.

Barrerra was still prime, JMM was prime for first 2 fights, Cotto, well damn one fight shy of his prime. More recently fights, yea Marg, Mosley were well beyond their primes.

Floyd's best wins...Hernandez, last fight of his career, Mosley, same old man Pac gets **** for beating, JMM LOL same aging vet, Of course he has some good notable wins (Coralles, Castillo for instance) but I doubt either get into HOF.

Pac and Floyd are also near the end of their respective ropes, Pac is probably closer himself due to his activity/style and for people like you, all it takes is one loss for these guys to go from the best to shot to ****.

if Floyd is getting called a 'culero' here in the US, I can only imagine what they would call him when he visits Mexico.

The 147 Manny is all showcase bro. All Butterbean ****. The catchweights, the diamond belts, even the refusal to submit to random OST, all that.

You cant discredit the Oscar or the Mosely wins for Floyd either, that discredits Pac even more since he fought them much later than FLoyd.

And I wasnt talking about his WW run. Im talking the pre-WW run. From David Diaz on back. There could have been lots of badass matches but he chose the right guys who would make him shine rather than clean up a single division.

You know why people loved Barrera, Morales and Marquez? They cleaned house.

Manny is cleaning up WW, but at catchweights.

                      Not the same at all.
