    I dont think there is much of a case for whether a rematch is warrented or not but more so a demand factor that surrounds a possible rematch which is understandable when two fighters produce such an exciting spectacle and ultimatley its good for boxing.

      To be fair, that’s a good point.

      My argument however, is that right now a rematch isn’t in the best interests of both fighters. Maidana, yes, but Khan most certainly not.

        Khan won by unanimous decision so yes it was a CLEAR winner. A close fight doesn't mean a rematch is always needed.

          I made it clear in my earlier post that I basically agreed with your points and a rematch at this moment in time is not feasible for either fighter. A couple of years down the line would be perfect when it's nice and ripe.

            Of course a rematch down the line is visible especially if both keep winning {Even if these two loses to either Paq or Mayweather}, at 147 hopefully if both establish themselves then why not.
