    Khan – Maidana – rematch – nah.

Really, why all the fuss over a rematch? As it stand right now, 59% of you want to see this fight next.

Yes it was a brilliant fight, but Khan was a clear winner and whilst a rematch would naturally be a great fight, it doesn’t need to be made at the moment. Their paths crossed, they’re now heading in different directions.

Khan wants to clean up at 140lb (perfectly understandable), then move up to 147lb (again, understandable)

So where does Maidana fit in? Well now he is the ridiculously titled ‘regular’ WBA champion, but come on, really. He needs to defend that against Paul Mccloskey – by the time that happens i would expect Khan to have fought for the WBC or WBO 140lb strap and then announced his move up to welter.

If Maidana follows him up a weight division then a rematch is feasible, but at 140lb it’s a non-starter for me, it carries no incentive and holds no reason.

Score cards suggest that Con wasn't a CLEAR winner, that's even with Maidana geting a point taken away from him for trying to hit the referee lol.

Pretty much agree with that I dont think a fight with Maidana is feasible at this time if this is to be Khan's last fight at 140 before he moves up. If Guerrero hadn't suffered that injury and came through against Chino then that would have been a fight I would have been interested in.

I would still like to see a remach with Maidana somewhere down the line maybe at 147 if Chino decides to move up, hope that happens within the next couple of years.

Not so much a fan of a rematch, Didnt see anything in their fight to suggest a rematch is warranted, Yes maidana landed his biggest punch flush but then what? he still got outbox by a Khan who doesnt seem to know how to box moving backwards.

Hardly a clear winner...clear winners don't produce so much fuss and high demand for rematches. If Khan is thinking about fighting McCloskey again then I don't see why Chino isn't a serious option.

I'll bet my house that if there were a poll between who would face Khan...Chino/McCloskey, Chino would be a landslide winner.

Fighting Maidana is waaaaay too much risk for what Khan has mapped out!!!

Why should he fight him again? Seriously, people claimed for ages Khan was scared of Maidana...rumours of Golden Boy paying Maidana to stay from Khan and other garbage...so Khan fought him, beat his ass. Great fight, it was close...but Khan won and there weren't many dis*****g it other than Team Maidana and Maidana fans.

IF Maidana wants Khan...get in the queue. Fight McCloskey and then Devon Alexander or Tim Bradley...corner Khan and give him nowhere to go.

I’d love to see one! I just don’t see the point of one.....right now.

Imagine a re-match at 147, both of them holding credible title belts, 2 years down the line from their original fight.

Yes, now THAT would be the time.

                    Right now though? Nah.
