If Winky right was active, Martinez wouldn't be considered top dawg at 160 so easily. I'm sure of it. He's the one man in recent memory that has the tools to take the crown from Martinez. I would say Taylor too, but he's done. Winky could still do it, if he's been keeping in shape & sparring maybe.

I wish, but Winky is done. It sucks, I'd take the Winky who fought at 160 over some fighters at 168, let alone Martinez.

Maybe even easily. Matinez has been capitalizing on his opponents mistakes. But he makes a bunch himself. Martinez would have a hard time finding many with Winky. Who'll be pumping that stiff jab with a crazy high guard that will have the low handed Martinez looking silly & flustered.

Man, Winky would punish Martinez for keeping his hands so low. His jab would find a home if they ever fought. I don't see Martinez hurting Wright either, who was a BIG 160, with a granite chin, coupled with ATG defense. 160 Wright (not his prime weight either), would UD Martinez.

I disagree Winky has been on the slide for years if anything had he stayed active up until this current day he would most likely be more short than he undoubtedly is now the guy is 40 after all.

If you are talking prime for prime who would win Sergio or Winky that is a different story but saying had Winky stayed active he could beat Sergio to me is a strange thing to come up with Winky had nothing left in the PW fight he will have even less now.

Actually.. Taylor holds his left just as low and its more dangerous for HIM because he isn't a southpaw as well. Although I thought it was a robbery, he still held his own againts Wink with his arm on his hip.

Sergio being a southpaw, a moving 1 at that would fair much better than taylor.

Taylor would've fared much better if he kept his hands up. My point is that keeping your hands low against Wright isn't a good idea. Hopkins completely neutralized Wright's jabs within a few rounds and that certainly wasn't with his hands kept low.
