I know you don't like Lennox Lewis... But he's made the top 10 heavyweights of all time list, yet he doesn't make your list?

Lennox Lewis should be in there. He dominated the heavyweight division for nearly a decade, He unified it, he beat every man he ever faced! - Making it his mission to get his two defeats back in the ring to reverse the result. He won the Olympic gold medal, he beat everyman they could throw at him, (and they didn't like him being the heavyweight champ because he wasn't American), Even at 39yrs of age he beat the current heavyweight champion of the World Vitali before retiring.

I don't care if you don't like him, he deserves to be in the list!

He dominated the heavyweight division in the year 2000 in three fights against over-rated opposition, that's hardly a decade dude (you really think he would of lived with Bowe from the first Bowe-Holyfield fight or Holyfield from the second Bowe-Holyfield fight? I don't think so somehow). Lewis was losing every round to Frank Bruno and clearly lost to Ray Mercer, the guy got knocked out by Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman, he lost to Holyfield in their second fight and what has Holyfield done since?, Tyson was atleast 15 years past his best and what has Tyson done since?, FFS wake up.

People make that Bruno fight sound so much worse than it was... It wasn't as if Bruno was hammering Lennox Lewis all around the ring for 6 rounds. And the fact of the matter is, that Frank Bruno got knocked out. [period]

I always think it's crap when people say that Lewis lost to Ray Mercer too, I don't think he did... Sure it was a close fight but Lennox did enough to win.

Lennox Lewis would have KO'd Rid**** Bowe if Rid**** Bowe hadn't thrown his belt in the bin because he refused to fight Lewis, And it was Lennox Lewis that had already knocked out Rid**** Bowe in the Olympic finals to win gold... So I don't see how you can say that Lewis wouldn't be able to live with Bowe/Holyfield???

Holyfield was a damn good fighter, but he never had the kind of skill that Lennox Lewis possessed. Lennox Lewis was the sweet science.

And last of all... Saying that Lewis only dominated the division for three fights is a little naive. That's just using this "unfortunate" multiple belts situation to your advantage. Lennox Lewis was "The Man" before he fought a reluctant Holyfield.

There are always people that are gonna try and look for holes in Lennox Lewis's career, and no one's career is perfect... But if you weigh up the pro's with the con's, the PRO's heavily out number the cons in Lennox Lewis's career.

Uh, it was, actually. And he was completely out-jabbing him.

I haven't seen the fight for years, but from what I remember Mercer quite clearly won the fight by a fair few rounds.

WTF?? Did I actually see that fight or what? It was a bull**** premature stoppage, no knockout at all, Bowe standing and perfectly fine. And Bowe had got inside a few times and rattled Lewis.

He may of made Emanuel Steward's and Frank Maloney's top 10 heavyweights of all time list, but he most certainly is not one of the best 10 heavyweights of all time, no way.
