I havent seen the HBO version but I feel like they overplayed how much of a beating Adamek was taking in the later rounds. It was like round seven and were already saying stopping it.

If it were any other fighter besides Vitali doing the punishment, I think they wouldnt have been calling for it to be stopped that early. **** was annoying.

Sky's commentary on the whole sounds more excitable and hyped than HBO's. I remember Adam Smith and Jim Watt going crazy when Maidana hit Khan with 2 huge overhand rights in the 1st round. I then watched the HBO version and it was like they never happened. They barely even commented on it.

Jim Watt is pretty crap though overall. He says one fighter is taking full control and then suddenly the other fighter. He goes from one extreme to the other.

Also they did a better of showing the ring entrances of each fighter.

Jim Watt is MUCH better than Max Kellerman, who comes on like an idiotic fan and always has an agenda and bias

John Rawlings did a better job than Jim Lampley, who is usually sharper than he was on Saturday

The only one of the HBO crew who did a decent job was Manny Steward, who provided some accurate insight about what was actually going on in the ring.
It was still a somewhat boring fight no matter how it was commentated.

If you are big time into the Klitschko's like Freedom is, you do.

I watched a Sky stream as well, and thought they did a great job as usual. I think I prefer them overall, but still nothing compares to HBO for the huge, megafights.

A good portion of HBO's cast are BET type blacks. You aren't going to get good anything on HBO, its been a sh 1t network for years now.

It's just another low class BET that hijacked what once was a good cable network.
