SKY Sports did a much better job on Klitschko-Adamek than HBO

I downloaded the SKY HD version of Adamek-Klitschko early this morning. They did a MUCH better job on the commentary than HBO.

Also they did a better of showing the ring entrances of each fighter.

Jim Watt is MUCH better than Max Kellerman, who comes on like an idiotic fan and always has an agenda and bias

John Rawlings did a better job than Jim Lampley, who is usually sharper than he was on Saturday

The only one of the HBO crew who did a decent job was Manny Steward, who provided some accurate insight about what was actually going on in the ring.

Jim Watt is a disgrace. He was full of sympathy for Adamek but does nothing but slam David Haye. I wonder why?

He used to be a Haye supporter, but he changed his mind, like most of the Haye fans in the UK.

Keep in mind though that the HBO crew was watching through a video feed rather than live. It is a bit different commentating on something live than through video.

Yes, that explains why Lampley didn't seem to be as much on the ball as usual.

But Kellerman is just an idiot.

I actually met and shook Jim Lampley's hand that night!

Was very strange to see him in person, seemed like a nice guy!

Lol since when was that old scottish goat a Haye fan? Haye only returned to Sky when he fought Valuev and this old dart has been hating since then.

John Rawling on the other hand was with ITV not too long ago and I do not understand why Adam Smith has another old dog commentating. These 2 love nothing more than supporting opposition fighters and it is unreal the way these idiots are still commentating on important fights.

These muppets said that Shane Mosley was having a great fight against Manny Pacquiao when all he was doing was to run backwards all night long. They were completely nut hugging Sturm against Macklin and thought that Sturm was winning easily when the stats clearly show Macklin landing a lot more punches.

But I guess every commentator is great when they say everything you want to hear and Jim Watt is a Klitschko nut hugger and so are the majority of the British media.

I dont agree, I think Jim Watts is the biggest ****** in Boxing, his voice is annoying, his scorecards are annoying and everything about him is annoying. He is the reason I sometimes mute SKY broadcasts as he opens his mouth in that horrible accent that sounds like he has 3 peaches in his mouth and proceeds to babble

BUT... the commenting for the adamek-vitali fight was shoddy, its like they werent even watching, just mumbling something, they had no energy, maybe they were watching thru the TV like we were.

The fight was shown at 4:45 first, then reshown at 10:30. The commentary was the same.

EDIT - Nevermind, i see what you mean. Although the original commentary was live, they weren't actually THERE. This is true, and explains a lot of the dalayed calls on some of the things going on.
