El Maja is very talented but he has a LONG WAY TO GO, probably wont see or hear him start making noise in that super bantamweight until he is arount 21-22 years old
Yordenis Ugas is the Cuban Prospect to watch out for in that Welterweight Division though IMO, I could see him in another year or so really start to make noise in that division
but Socarras has a long way to go, but I like his upside better then other prospect in that division like Rico Ramos (no longer a prospect now though), Scott Quigg and Enrique Bernache
That ''knockdown'' was so BS man. The ref was blind he didn't see it was a rabbit punch that ''knocked'' Socarras down .
It appeared that Charlton actually shoved Socarras to the ground as Hairon was moving past him. Even then, I had Socarras winning 38-37 (as did one of the judges). That "knockdown" clearly cost Hairon the fight. What a sad joke.
One good thing: that fight should've been a great learning experience for the young Cuban. Now he has a better idea of what pro boxing can really be like. He also learned that he can't knock everyone out, even when he's better. It was the first time Hairon went more than two rounds.
Socarras looks pretty good. He seems to have solid potential. The best thing is he's only eighteen years old. Although the 33 year old Charlton was only 1-1, he was surprisingly better (and tougher) than his record indicated. "El Maja" is still green, but he's someone to keep an eye out for.

Agreed.
He'll get better as time passes by. He's already showing he can crack, but to win in boxing it takes more than that.
very cool to see a young cuban with lots of potential. he looks good so far, hopefully he makes it big. thanks for sharing man, going to try and keep up with this kid.
