Floyd will capitalize on that weak defense of Ortiz

      KO very likely
More likely than not, Floyd wins this fight by decision. I can't see him getting the KO, because he doesn't let his hands go and Victor recovers very quickly. If Ortiz's defense is weak, what would you call Berto's? Berto's defense against Zaveck was atrocious.

look for him to come in the same weight as last fight as his strength and energy was very good.

floyd is sharp but he isnt a power puncher, he hit hatton with probably 40 straight rights until he got him out of there and he hit the sitting duck shane with about 50 and never staggered him or had him hurt or in trouble.

floyd is hard to catch cleanly, ortiz can however win a lot of rounds on activity and bullying floyd all over the place keeping him from pot shotting..

floyd just does not punch in combinations, ortiz does and floyd doesnt hit

hard enough to stop him in his tracks.

berto hits harder than floyd and at this stage is faster....

i think floyd will have a lot of difficulty making the 35 year old off two years adjustment..

look for ortiz to win 5 rounds on activity alone, if he follows a smart gameplan
Hard to disagree with much here. What makes this an intriguing fight is that Ortiz has a lot going for him: youth, size, speed and aggressiveness. He also recover fast. That second Berto knockdown of him was brutal and he recovered very quickly. If Floyd won't let his hands go, he'll have a helluva time keeping Ortiz off of him, and, even if Ortiz is landing clean shots, he'll win those rounds on activity. The onus is going to be squarely on Floyd to either really sit down on his punches or not thrown single shots.

That being said, I favor Mayweather in this fight, but this is a very interesting brawl.

Man this the 3rd or 4th floyd cherrypick. consecutive at that. this doesnt really do anything good for floyds legacy.

Do you even watch boxing? Ortiz is no way a cherry pick. He fought JMM and now someone else is fighting him at the same weight, he fought SSM and then someone else fought him after he showed he was truly done, he fought Hatton when he was undefeated, then someone else fought him after he got knocked out, he fought ODLH, a 154 OLDH not a weight drained 147, and now the WBC champion and someone coming off a good win. This is no way a cherry pick if anything the other guy is the cherry picker if you want to break it down like that.

Just so much hate for Floyd.

he fought a jmm two division up and cheated him in the weigh in. he didnt fight hatton in his optimal weight of 140. he ducked delahoya for the rematch. now hes fighting maidanas step son. stop being a fanboy homeboy.

Wow so Pac not fighting ODLH, Cotto, Marg, or JMM (same two divisions) at their optimal weight is fine for you? and you call me the fanboy.

man are we really gonna debate OSCAR? for real?lol. i wont give pac credit for the third match with JMM its just the last fight in an exciting trilogy. i dont think he is an 8 division champion as well.
