Comments Thread For: Vitali: Adamek's Jaw Surprised Me, Opponents Not There

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko was stunned at the amount of punishment that Tomasz Adamek was able to take before he was stopped in the tenth round on Saturday night in Wroclaw, Poland. Vitali said he pasted other boxers with similar punches, but Adamek stood in there and tried to fight. As reported earlier, Vitali advised Adamek to move down in weight and said the Polish star was a blown-up heavyweight.

Aside Haye there are Helenius, Fury maybe one of the Russians (Povetkin, Boytsov or freaky Valuev - though it's unlikely that those cowards will step into one ring with either Klitschko).

Adamek beat Paul Briggs when Briggs was good, and he had a broken nose right before the fight started.

So there's no question he's a tough dude.

The Klitschko are lucky guys like Mike Tyson, Tommy Morrison, Lennox Lewis, and David Tua or no longer in the game!
