brilliant boxer, he does do charitable work, but he probably damages just as many with his lifestyle. people want to look up to him, and he portrays a certain image. look at floyd from the beginning of his carear - a complete sea-change
look at guys like ardien broner, gary russell junior, they idolise floyd, he should be setting an example, and speak the truth
andre ward is an example
broner's an idiot and he's taken the silly act as something real.
it's up to the individual to take whatever influence they want to take from it.
when floyd's doing his ****** fabulous thing, like running round the big boy mansion showing off his cars and his upholstery and his ***els and his woman, it's pretty boring. when he's angry or has a genuine chip on his shoulder, he can be a quite engaging, interesting subject. like when he went at it with his dad, i didn't see much acting there. his mannerisms were almost womanly, and i don't mean that insultingly, but rather to mean that they bear traces of the influence of the women in his family. though he stands his ground at a close physical proximity at one point, he never looks like he wants to physically fight his father and his expressions have a woman's pragmatism about them (get out of our gym, we working, we don't want anybody in the way - he's almost shoo'ing his father out). ofc, at the same time, he's also calling him a f*ggot and mother****er, but that's anger speaking.

Jeff Mayweather once came out and said that Floyd had it pretty good growing up as as kid. Sure he might not have had the ideal parents, but he was actually raised by his grandmother. He spent his entire youth in a boxing gym and never had to wonder where his next meal was coming from unlike Oritz. ***** come to think of it, MY childhood was rougher than Floyd's.
Floyd says he's tired of hearing about Ortiz's story. Did it ever occur to him that the viewers are sick and tired of him talking about how rich he is every single time the camera is on him???Last edited by Deevel916; 09-11-2011, 11:39 AM.

His uncle Jeff has said his whole persona is false. He was never hungry, never lacked for anything. I can see with his crazy father, why he might be a bit mentally unhinged. he never really had a childhood, and it ****ed him up, ala michael jackson. But even in his 30's, his behavior is that of a child. he's pedaling a lie, hence his insecurities. He's a fraud. im not saying that he isnt tough - he is, he gets hit in the face for a living - but he's not from the ******. He surrounds himself with people from harsher upbringings - but that doesnt make him ******.
When i look at Floyd, i cringe.
That is all.

but if any other 140-147 beat De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Clottey, Margarito, and so on-- they would be considered future HOFers.
which is why Floyd and Pac are future HOFers.
