        lol Not far from it.

The "Pac Sweepstakes" is getting old. Everybody wants to fight Manny. For Gamboa, a guy who might not even make it at 135, to talk about fighting Pacquiao is embarrassing to me. There are those (not all of them Cuban) who seem to think this idea isn't too far out there. I just don't see it.

You're throwing out some serious names...ATGs even. Gamboa, as impressive as he is, is still only getting started in professional boxing. The comparisons will have to wait until a little farther down the line, IMO.

            This.......^^^^^

But hey... He's just doing his thing.... Putting his name on the spotlight.... He knows that even that he's good as he is..... There are other boxers who earn more money than him... He's throwing his name like that to put him self in a Better position to demand more $$$... But like some one already says.... He needs to face a real champ....he never fought Chrissy John....same way juanma never faced caballero @ 122....

Packy???? he ain't gonna get it. Packy vs pbf... That's the fight that can save boxing.... Cos right now for me...there's nothing interesting happening but Cotto vs Margie II because of their history...

Since he's going up to super feather/jr lightweight(130lbs) then he should fight Adrian Broner or Takahiro Aoh(who ever is available 1st) & if he beats 1 of these guys, then take on the other..Either 1 of these 2 would be a good fight for Gamboa..

He CAN'T be serious, there's still plenty of viable opponents in or around his division. Be reasonable Gamboa lol

I totally agree with U..Like I mentioned in My comment before, at 130lbs there's Broner & Aoh, which are good fights for Gamboa & he has the skills to beat them..But then at 135lbs there's Rios, Guerrero & even Katsidis could Gamboa a run for his $$$ & at 140lbs there's Khan, Bradley, Maidana & Mathysse & Alexander..& that is a EXTREMELY TOUGH crowd to get threw to get to Pacquiao & note that from 135lbs on these are much bigger & stronger guys than what Gamboa is used to facing..& even if he was able to get past these guys(just imagining, I'm not talking seriously), by that time Pacquiao will most likely be retired..So either way I don't see it happening..
