    Key obervations of Floyd and Victor( based on 24/7)

    Victor

    PROS

    * high intensity training

    * obviously highly motivated

    * Hunger is apparent

    CONS

    *very poor footwork in sparring

    * Inaccurate punching (punching for impact, not accuracy)

    * While I believe he is training very intensely, I don't think he understands how good Floyd really is.

    FLOYD

    PROS

    * INTENSE training

    * Usual attention to ACCURATE punching

    * A focus on inside fighting (hard body shots)

    CONS

    * Leeches and parasites that surround him ( aside from uncle, Ellerbe, sparring partners, kids,50 cent) .

    * Dietary habits and sleep patterns are no good especially for an aging fighter.

    i agree with you saying that victor doesn't understand how good he really is...not sure if you know...but floyd has never had good dietary habits...and his sleep schedule is redicilous...he goes to sleep at 3am and wakes up and goes right to training...they say he sleeps till about 2 or 3 in the afternoon...

        I noticed that Ortiz looks like he will have to cut some weight and have to rehydrate for fight night. I think that's a mistake because he won't be able to rest against Floyd. Also I think ODLH gave him some false confidence that he can just bully Floyd. Floyd is a dirty fighter on the inside and is physically stronger than people think. It will come down to if Ortiz can land a bomb and how Floyd takes it if he gets hit. Sounds similar to the Mosley fight but realistically Ortiz ain't outboxing Floyd.

          I believe that victor thinks he can muscle through skill, this will either be a good thing or a giant mistake, double edge sword so to speak.

            To the poster who said victor will need to cut weight, I agree , victor looks like a middleweight at the very least light middleweight.

            He wont be able to just muscle floyd that doesnt work, and neither does lunging in without jabs.

                only thing I see that late sleep doing is helpin his body adjust to high seratonin levels at night (fight time)

                  I'm sure during the last week of training its not going to be as intense. I think he'll be well rested come fight time.
                  I really haven't noticed anyone leeching onto him on any of the 24/7 episodes.

                    also that floyd is an attention whore and couldnt bear that HBO was spending time on Victor's story.
