so general consensus is that the fight should have went to prescott, or a draw. . . but too close to be a robbery. . . i didn't get to see the fight - how did each fighter look overall?
BS but that was expected that's why Prescott didn't complain if you go 12 close rds in someone elses backyard , especially overseas you have to expect to get robbed that's just how it is, Prescott clearly won if anything else it was at least a draw but no way did mccloskey really win the fight, but it is what it is guess khan will now use this loss as his excuse for a reason not to give prescott a rematch but the fact of the mattter is prescott really did a better job on mccloskey than khan imo and styles make fights just because they gave mccloskey the fight doesn't neccessarily mean prescott isn't capible of koing khan again he floored mccloskey and shook him up a couple times khan really didn't even hurt him
But I knew if the fight was close to a degree, which I felt it was, It was McCloskey's fight.
I knew when the scores were being read that McCloskey would get the descision.
Sadly, in Boxing, you have to take things like hometowns into account.
ESPECIALLY a place like Ireland, who have immense pride in their fighters.
Which is key reasons why I bet on Mcloskey to win, because I knew that Prescott wouldn't stop and he would have to utterly dominate to get a descision.
