    And boxing's next superstar is...............

    Nonito "The Flash" Donaire!

This guy has it all. Excellent skills, one shot KO power, and and all around exciting fighter. He's well spoken and has charisma. I'm saying it now. In 2-3 years time, Donaire is going to be boxing's top dog superstar. I dont see anyone else with that type of potential once both Pac and Floyd steps down. Donaire's only downfall is his wife. She seems to get too involved in his business and can be a real distraction.

Agreed. Hopefully after his upcoming fight he stays very active to make up for lost time.

Also I don't see him at 122 for very long, being there are no money fights there.

I bet he's at 126 by the end of next year.

Yes. In order to gain some more recognition especially from the casual boxing fans, he's going to have to step up in weight.

If everything continues to go smoothly, and he can fight at a high enough weight, Nonito will be a superstar. I can say the same thing about Yuriorkis Gamboa. Both these guys are electric. A match-up between these two is indeed a dream fight.

            Amen!

The only problem I have with Gamboa is that he's too hyper. He's so focused on imposing his will on his opponents that he tends to leave himself open at times. If he was to slightly tame his aggression, he could possibly be unstoppable. One hell of an exciting fighter though! Cant wait till tonight!

If Gamboa vs. Donaire happens I will be there no matter what. Even if the fight takes place in Somalia.

lol I honestly think that is the most explosive fight I will have ever seen. I have only been a Boxing fan since about 2006. But Gamboa and Donaire man they are two of the most athletic and disciplined athletes in the world from any sport.

the thing is, he needs that other superstar foil to turn him into a superstar. unless he's jumping all the way to welterweight, which is ridiculous, and he beats may or pac, which is even more ridiculous, chances are, it doesn't happen. its the mega fights that turn fighters into superstars.

if i had to bet, it'd be Khan, but odds are he gets sparked sooner rather than later.
