Smaller heavyweights have good results against super heavyweights all the time. Why would there be a need for another division?

i think changing the weight limits a small amount would benefit boxing. guys are constantly getting bigger, its evoution, and the weight classes hsould evolve also. i think they should move the cruiser limit up to 205 or 210 and the light heavy to 180 or 185, they could go from there.....

I think they should actually limit the weight for people in the heavyweight division...there is really no reason for a guy over 300 pounds to be fighting unless they are freakishly tall like Valuev...if the guy is 6'1 and 300 lbs he probably ain't going to be a contender...fat guys in boxing (uincluding butterbean) blow

NO, NO, NO, the least we need is more weightclasses and titles.

Prime Tyson was flooring plenty of far bigger men. Toney is carrying excess bulk and would IMO be a far better fighter if his weight were less and stamina thusly higher. Byrd has done OK.
In fact Tyson got lesser as his size crept higher. His early training regimes were based on speed, stamina and skill. I am certain he relied on weights in his later career. His weight was certainly far higher.
                    So true excellent point

I think that we should revert to the old days the least a Heavyweght should weigh is 190 the cruiser weight division is a division with talented fights lost in limbo too small for heavyweight ans SOME,too slow for the lighter weight classes.
HVY Wght 190-330(too keep shaq from joining)
                      Lgt HV Wght max 180
                      Spr Mids max 168

                      and so on.......
