Yea, Khan has no leverage against Maidana. He won in a very controversial and close match.
    Close, yes. Controversial, why?

When is maidana fighting in argentina? i really dont like boxer taking on fights on short notice and this is another reason why the WBC should have withdrawn its belt when Lucas M pulled out, Why isnt Ajose olusegun giving a chance at that belt anyway? He seem to have been the number one guy since the day Witter held that version of the belt.

To be honest with ourselves most of didnt know who vargas was before Mayweather brought him uo because Khan was calling him out. And for the maidana...yes it was close but Khan won.

        Get over it.

If your gonna grill anyone on here it should be bradleys house. I might file a missing report for him.....

I don't know why that poster thinks it was controversial but it was confusing that Cortez took a point away from Maidana for throwing a elbow which missed Khan and tapped Cortez on the chest. He just took a point away, no warning. That was just ******. Worst high profile ref in boxing. Mayweather-Ortiz could already be ruined and it hasn't even happened.

To be fair, a lot of posters think that a boxer just randomly talks about another boxer. It's not like that, they are asked questions by the interviewer and they answer it, then the articles just show the boxers answers. So it looks like the fighter is just talking crap, but in fact he's just answering questions. Most of the times.

                  I Guess We're In Limbo.

Well, I guess we have a stalemate. Jesse Vargas has to do what? Why not fight him? What's more important? Vargas or Mayweather? Vargas beats Maidana, and you fight Vargas instead. You beat Vargas, and get Mayweather. He sounds like he's just shooting off at the mouth. Is he fighting Peterson or what? He's a young fighter that can put up a good fight, win or lose. He's no Judah.

Why would Maidana fight Morales right now? It wouldnt even be the cofeature fight. He'd get a lot less money now then he would if he fought Morales in December. He also has a contract signed for fighting in Argentina. It would just be a lot more work to get out of that contract, train 9 days for a dangerous opponent, and make a whole lot less money.

Khan can talk all he wants, but he would do the same exact thing. Morales/Maidana was a ppv main event fight of the year. Should be promoted more and the fight will happen in December.
