I think Vitali will pick up where he left off. He's gotten his confidence up. He's got his awkward style still working for him. He knows Lewis's style pretty much and will come even more prepared this time around. He's probably one of the smartest heavyweight's I've ever seen and he can rock Lewis over and over. Vitali's chin has been tested plenty of times and he can take many punches. Lewis wasn't looking too good in those early rounds and until Vitali drew blood, he wasn't looking good at all. It would be a very interesting rematch though I see Vitali getting that much wanted revenge that he's been asking for, for so long now. I'd say Vitali by KO in late rounds if it ever happened.

Lewis has been retired for way too long. I really hope he stays retired and keeps what little respect he has earned

This would be a great fight for Heavyweight boxing. And bring in some fresh air, after watching fighters like Byrd and Ruiz fight. Although Lewises chances of winning are very slim now. Perhaps if he took the rematch right after the first fight with Vitali than his chances would be higher. Now it's a different story, Vitali has improved with every fight since his Lewis war. He showed us that he still is reaching his prime. Recently against Williams Klitschko showed us that he now added uppercuts to his arsenal, plus his ability to throw punches from different angles, and knowing when to throw through the target and when to throw around it. I believe if the Vitali that fought Williams fought Lewis the first time, than this issue would be settled a long time ago, as I believe Vitali would knock Lewis out. Now if Lewis comes back, I believe Vitali will knock him out, but its heavyweight boxing so anything can happen.

Lewis will fight Vitali, but will lose because of inactivity.
