Is Lennox Lewis Ready For A Rematch With Vitali?

It's rumored that Lennox Lewis might come back to fight Vitali a second time. Question is: Does he need a few warm up fights out of retirement to get prepared for Vitali? And if so, how many warm up fights does he need?---- Or is Lennox Lewis good enough to go straight into a rematch with him and beat him?

9 months away from fight shape... so Lennox says..

He could take the fight without a tune-up since he pretty much
knows the openings in Klit's style.

    Would be tough though..

He may loose the warm-up fights... what then?

I think the safest strategy for him is to just have a single return fight.

If LL looses, his credibility and place in history won't be hurt by a bit. He will collect his >20M purse too.

A return fight is a win-win situation for LL, whether he wins or looses the actual fight.

I think VK-LL-II is quite likely to happen.

Very good odds that Lewis-Klit 2 is brewing, but it better happen soon.

Lewis won't accept any warm-ups, because it only Klit that he wants. There's no BIG payday with anybody less than Klit.

Both guys NEED this fight to truly cement a legacy.

by hte time he fights vitaly he will be in his 40s. that way when he looses he can say he was too old when he loses. lennox couldn't beat vitaly when he was younger in my book. why would he be able to as an old man. i know he won hte fight as far as the history books go but imo vitaly was the true winner.

How is it a win-win situation if he gets beat down especially since that is the most likely scenario?
