I wonder how many pesos was given to Nacho by Jr. to make that statement.." best in the history of boxing?"...what an insult to the great Sugar Ray Robinson...

Beristain is on Floyd's payroll along with USADA....it all makes sense now. Manny fights for the fans and he is happy, he doesn't need Mayweather.

really? I'm not surprised I'd have to explain it to someone like you. I'm not gonna though.

Great compliment from a great trainer. Just like every fighter, Floyd will have a lot of what if's, and Floyds comments of "not having to prove to the fans who the best fighter is" will get looked at harsh especially when he could have, should have, fought certain fighters when the public demanded this. This we'll see in Floyds future documentaries. Change of topic, i forgot Mosley fought Mora before Mayweather, makes Floyds win less impressive because many people felt Mora won.

Mayweather without question is a very good fighter with great defense. But to say he is the fastest in the history of boxing...WOW!!! I guess this guy has never watched Roy Jones Jr, Sugar Ray Leonard, or Terrible Terry Norris. And what people overlook is, these guys were knocking fighters out with there combination of power and speed. Mayweather would have never fought Roy because of the size difference. But put him in the ring with Ray, and you would see the difference between a great fighter and an all time great. Floyd would have never even thought about fighting Terry. Floyd may be one of the best defensive fighters ever, but Terry was one of the most explosive offensive fighters ever.

If you combine foot speed, hand speed, reaction speed/timing then yeah you could argue that. Overall he's always ahead of his opponent defensively.
