You wanna know why? Because fighters in USA are so spoiled they dont care about the fans or giving anyone a show.

Look at the ring entrances in a Klitshko fight, they have been known to spend a million just on them alone, they give them crazy pyro, they have a Rock band that plays a few songs, they get the crowd pumped up.

The fighters are always seen on tv there, at charity functions, at special programs, helping everyone out. and their fights are usually fun to watch and show some nice excitement for the fans and the undercards? They are huge and long, over 10 fights.

Same thing in Mexico, the boxers get treated like Hero's and they are always on tv/media and helping out the poor, on shows. They are loyal to their fans and create a huge atmosphere, there is no better place for a Mexican fighter than 50000 mexicans singing a song for him.

In USA? Fighters dont care at all if they have fans, they do nothing to get their name out there, alot are caught up in illegall activities or always in the news for the WRONG things. They think that they are entitled to everything and they dont need to do anything but fight, then they get in the ring and run around for 12 rounds clinching all night. and then wonder why they have no fans?

When was last time an american fighter was in the news daily getting his name out there? Going on TV/Radio (not only when they wanna pimp their fight), come out to charity functions? fashion shows? Car shows? etc etc etc. Nobody wants to put in the work

Very true. That's because in America they are still listening to Bert Sugar telling them that boxing is no good because none of his black heroes are on top. You have boxing media people here helping to kill boxing, even wanting to kill it because they feel disconnected from it. They'd rather see boxing die so they can talk about the "good old days" and not feel threatened by the East Europeans who keep kicking Americans' butts.

The two fat jackasses who run the history forum here are Bert Sugar disciples to the core, sad to say.

Good for him. And he didn't even have to resort to being a classless piece of **** like Haye did to get his payday. Tomasz is a warrior who has paid his dues.

He deserves it. He's a true throwback fighter.

Sadly, Vitali is going to beat the living f**k out of him.

Some very good points. That and the boxing media people like Bert Sugar and his ilk who keep telling general sports fans that boxing is dead because Ali isn't the heavyweight champion anymore. There is no other sports media where you see that happening. Can you imagine baseball announcers doing the World Series and telling viewers that baseball is dead, and they should just go and watch some old videos of Babe Ruth? Absurd, but that is what happens with boxing here all of the time. How can any sport thrive with "friends" like that in the mass media?

Good to see Adamek getting paid heavyweight dough, I can't see him winning but hey this sort of bread is why he went to heavy.

Glad his move paid off it was well earned.

Now you know why Klitschko's fight in Europe, cuz they can pack 30k-50k fans who all pay for their tickets and buy mad booze. Plus they actually get paid from the TV stations. Just because a fight isnt on HBO, PPV, Showtime doesnt mean jack, that only applies to US market.

Even in Mexico im sure Canelo making that cash fighting cab drivers

They dont need to go on Purse bids and fight in front of 500 people at Little White Horn Indian Reservation.
