And like he said, anybody who understands boxing and knows Bob Arum can see whats up. Arum is a flat out bull**** artist, plain and simple.

He has played the media, and he has played the ignorant casual fans.

    " USADA are corrupt " ?

Some of you guys are idiots, plain and simple.
Wow, I got 4 consecutive GreenK's for this post ?

Ortiz is the WBC WW Champion coming off his BEST performance of his career. Unlike Pac's recent selections who where coming off their worst performances of their careers (Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley).

Who is Bob to question the the logic of boxing, the best fight the best?

Funny how you want to point at Floyd yet over look Bob Arum who bluntly states that he will not make fights if HE thinks they will not win. Think about it.
      Bob Arum said this EXACTLY......

Bob Arum thoughts On Ortiz Vs Mayweather Jr.
“I had 11 years with Floyd and I say that fight won’t happen. For 11 years, I had problems getting him to consider a southpaw opponent. He refused to consider any southpaw.”
Bob Arum puts his foot in his mouth AGAIN.
"I wouldn't have wasted or thrown a young guy like Ortiz into this match against Mayweather at this particular point in his career," said Arum."

So this is your philosophy huh? Being that everyone will say Floyd ducked Pac then that is so huh?..... Hmmmmm..... but what about what really happened and is written down in the history books of boxing? Like this for instance...

Pacquiao and Mayweather had agreed to unlimited random urine testing, but Mayweather also insisted on random blood testing, even though the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which would oversee the bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, requires only urine testing.

Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want blood testing but later relented and agreed to three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week, one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would be subject to the same testing procedures.

When they could not come to an agreement, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, turned to a mediator, retired judge Daniel Weinstein, who had successfully mediated a series of disputes between Top Rank and Golden Boy in 2007.

But after nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., and further attempts to come to a resolution on Wednesday failed, the fight was pronounced dead by the Pacquiao camp.

When all the Pac hype dies down and everyone has moved on from this fase then this is what will be remembered like how we remember the stories of Ali, Leonard, Haglar, Duran...... Etc..... Do you see how "No Mas" has hung with the great Roberto Duran FOREVER? Manny is going to be known as "No Testing" for the rest of his life. Why would or should any fighter be scared of another who is afraid to give blood? Funny how Pac fans have every excuse for Manny not taking them. the funniest one is "Floyd asked for the tests to kill the fight" but Mosley and now Ortiz is taking one. Pac is a fraud.

            • Eh, I'm to the point where I don't even care anymore. Pacquiao don't seem like he wants to fight, Mayweather don't seem like he wants to fight. They keep talking about it but nothing ever happens. Boxing has a bunch of other great fights, this fight is either never going to happen or lse it'll happen when both guys are past their prime and all we get s a fraction of what could have been.

              • "that fight right there is going to be one of Wifebeater's easiest fights. The two are not even on the same level. PAC is a good lil fighter, but there's a difference" - Fat**** Ellerbe

Umm, and F*t@ss is basing his opinion on what ? Please help me guys. I can't recall PAC ever fighting with OST. So, he's basically saying that PAC's sensational performances w/o OST is still much less inferior to Wifebeater's. LMAO.

Yet, they're in awe of PAC's fighting ability and questions whether he's on some type of PEDs, wtf

                • What i hate is Ellerbe responding NOW, Where was he months and months ago when Arum was busy smearing Team Mayweather? Just one statement would make them look better to the public, but nah.

They allow Arum to field his BS to his already brought media and to the less knowledgeable boxing fan, Right now his words mean nothing because both camp ARE to blame for this fight not happening, and until they are both hit in the pocket with less sales then nothing would change.

That is exactly my point, I have been saying that for months.

When you break down Pacs resume' there is nothing resembling greatness.

He has been carefully matched-up with fighters who are shop-worn, faded, and made to order.

It is not just about who you fought, it is ALL about when you fought them.

                    Pacquiao's timing has been..... impeccable.

Great post man, you were **** on the money there.

You can tell the guys who have been around awhile and understand the game.
