He would have had to fight Soliman before rematching with Hopkins to keep the IBF title...****** as it sounds these sanctioning bodies don't want unified champions it is obvious.

The belt sturm is fighting for is basiclly the mandatory belt, just a fancy way of being the number 1 in that orginaztion somewhat

**** having all these different titles is bull **** anyway its just a scam to make more money from the sport. They should have 1 champion and 1 champion only for all weight classes, if you want to hold onto your title and not fight well you only have 4 months to do so, or it's removed. Boxing popularity and fighters have staggered drastically because of this. The two best men should fight champ and challenger one of the top ten, so that means when you have your choice it's much wider for better fights.

I agree with you all these alphabet titles are a huge waste of time. A **** load of politics which prevent us the fans from watching the fights we want to see.

Unless Hopkins decides to sleep through the first 7-8 rounds like he did last time. I am a big BHop fan but I knew he was on the way to losing that last fight and I thought it was hardly a robbery. Hopkins looked great in the latter rounds and possibly had Taylor hurt but he had lost too many rounds. Close fight though and scoring is always subjective (one of the problems with judges) so i can see how people felt Hopkins won.
