Yes, that sounds logical. When MannyP and Marquez fought they were of a size, and Marquez was reputed to be the best opponent. In fact MannyP had come up in size, so could be said to have been the smaller man. And was cheated by an ignorant Judge out of the decision. And he even did it again a few years later and won.

Now we have Mayweather and Martinez. If Mayweather came up in size to fight Martinez, reputed to be the best at the weight, that would be a perfect analogy to what MannyP had done.

    Soooo..... why not???

You seem to be a bit thick. I said that if the testing that they were discussing was the FAMOUS testing.....as it was. Then Pacquiao's and Arum's answers that they would take the tests were perfectly adequate.

You keep saying (amongst offensive side-bars) that they were not talking about the same tests. If that's what you want to believe, or even if that indeed is the case, then just leave it at that, there is no discussion. It's not neccessary to use your well known lucidity to keep hammering away at the place where the nail has long ago sunk into the wood......so stop beating your head around. You're just creating splinters.

Adequate doesn't mean that they agreed to that particular testing, whether you want to pretend it does or doesn't.

You missed something very important. Martinez is willing
to take Floyd's peds test. Just proves it's not about the
            test. It's about something else.

            • Not possible to learn how to use your other hand in a fight at 25, and move from being a good fighter to a great one? Something a hater would say. Come on... Floyd's a great fighter, no doubt in my mind, but it doesn't mean no one else can be one as well. Hope the fight pushes through, so morons on these sites would get shut up.

Yeah, our "fighters" in Afghanistan had no reason to be over there killing the poor harmless ******s that perpetrated 9/11 (al qaeda) or protected them (the taliban).

People don't support Mayweather because he has a terrible style for the average boxing fan to watch. It is his own fault nobody gets excited about watching him fight. You make money as a boxer by exciting the masses, the people that don't know anything about boxing, and getting them to buy PPVs. Guys like Mike Tyson did that with explosive power. Mayweather does that with what, shoulder rolls? He knows his audience. If he wants fan mass fan support in the US, he should adapt his style. Safety first doesn't cut it in American boxing. Ask Winky Wright.
