Yes, Arum, along with all these other promotors and managers like Golden Boy, Al Haymon, etc. who have so much power are cancers on the sport.
That's why ufc has more fans than boxing. One guy promoting & no one gets to avoid.

This tread is about Chavez an arum guy. If you visited the other tread that actually involved Canelo, you'd see that I addressed that. If you don't like when I post the truth ignore it & stop b!tchin to me.

But whatever, the 5th would be like to fight of the year candidates on one hbo card, minus ppv that would simply be incredible. I pray it happens!!

WTF?? Wasnt Chavez order to fight Martinez next anyways??

The WBC is a Joke, protecting Mexican fighters like they were promoters or something. This is disgracefull!!!

The WBA with their gazzillion titles per division, WBC protecting Mexicans and handling free titles, the WBO(rank rricans high in their rankings) and the IBF looks at the more legit belts!

what angers me is that the wbc blatantly lied to martinez
no wonder they just announced this until now, they want martinez to take yet another fight so chavez can reach 2 title defenses before vacating

Man, these scumbags keep pushing Chavez farther and farther away from Martinez....."winner gets Chavez" smh, it's Martinez's belt that you stole from him in thefirst place.

Chavez jr is a slimeball and Sulaiman is an evil demon in a human body- he reeks of corruption.

This is an f-ed up situation. They strip Martinez, the rightful no 1 MW in the world and give the belt to Chavez, and now Martinez has to fight eliminators for the right to challenge for the belt he never officially lost. You couldn't make it up.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is the baddest man on the planet. He has already defeated a sleuth of world class contenders and 1st ballot hall of fame champions on his way to the title.

That said, watching him effortlessly tear through is becoming a bit predictable. With that in mind, I'd like to see him take on both these cherry-picking bums on the same night and the same time. Going 2-1 with Chavez will make them both famous and it's probably the only way either Martinez or Rubio make it past the first round.
