How does it work, Im guessing like in most sports/life the Celebrities and top athletes get all their loot for free or get paid to use peoples products?

Like all the Hollywood actresses getting $50k goodie bags just to showup somewhere.

Do top level Boxers actually pay for their gear? Im figuring that Glove companies are fighting each other to provide gloves for free to top fighters just for the media exposure that they get from all the fans seeing the name.

So when those kids go buy a glove they will buy the one that their favorite fighters use.
