As far as Leonard is concerned you are quoting from the famous Lew Tendler fight where Tendler his him an almost KO punch, and Leonard, ready to go, talked him out of it. he was not otherwiase known for talking tohis ipponents. He was all business.

This Miss Jackson, from what I've seen of her phoro, is a shark, and not apsecially personable. Not a pleasant, nice kind of person, but an on-the-make, fighting, scrabbling for success kind of person. They will not have any permanent happiness and i see this association braking up like the others.
