Salido would KO him right now but in a couple of fights down the road Russell wins this like how Gamboa did agains't Salido in Roger Mayweather words just box him baby.

This. (Although it would be a ten rounder. Twelve rounders are for belts.)

I think Russell has to prove he can fight 12 rounds before you put him in there with a beast like Salido. As of right now Salido wins of experience probably by KO.

I agree with everybody here its just too soon fro Russell. Another fight i would love to see but its too soon as well is Russell vs Gamboa to see how they handle each others hand speed.

Yes, you're right. I should have said, "Twelve rounders are usually for belts."

Give Russell Jr about 2 or 3 more fights against world class opposition, and i wouldn't be surprised if he out pointed him similar to the way Gamboa did. Slight movement, speed and crisp counter punches.
Except russell isnt a counterpuncher and salido is the type of fighter willing to take 2 to give one. Salido would back him up and he cant fight going backwards.

Did you see how many counters he landed last night? Lol it was non stop. I also don't know what makes you think he can't fight going back. He did both things last night.
