One thing that we should remember though is that Russell is harder to hit than Lopez was, who was willing to trade and fight up close for most of the fight. Give Russell Jr about 2 or 3 more fights against world class opposition, and i wouldn't be surprised if he out pointed him similar to the way Gamboa did. Slight movement, speed and crisp counter punches.

salido would eat him up at this point. let russell taste a 12-rounder first.

At this point he's just not ready for that level of fighter so try again next year.
However he could possibly outpoint him bcse he's not as defensively irresposible as juanma but he could also get walked down and beat down

In another year in a half or two lean toward the first option

How does he react when he gets hit by a hard punch and how would he look to fight that individual when he knows he can be hurt this we need to find out along with so many other scenarios

Gary Sr. Is still developing his son, so this fight aint happening soon.

In about 2-3 years Russell would dominate Salido.

Lol at anyone thinking Gary has no power. He wasnt sitting on punches as was being cautious because of his hand issues.

He did the right thing as far as getting the W and rounds in.

Russell Decisions Salido. Russell would be too fast and would do enough to keep Salido off of him.
