Do you think a better trainer would make Berto an unstoppable beast?

One of the mayweathers, roger, floyd or Jeff? Or do you think Roach would fit Berto perfectly?

One of the mayweathers might be bad for him tho, because he might rely too much on his defense. Roach might be the perfect fit because he'll teach Berto head-movement and side to side movements.

No, the trainer he has right now is perfect for his style. Berto can't get better than he already is

I think Nassem Richardson would be a great trainer. He has an awesome eye for boxing styles. I would rank him at the top of trainers right now. Maybe Floyd senior as well. He could help work on bertos foot work and defense.

It's too late now. NO trainer will be able to completely break all those bad habits/bad defense.

That might be a great fight too. I think Berto either has to leave his current trainer or make him a co-trainer or something. Much respect for his trainer having helped Berto get this far in his career but Berto needs a better trainer in my opinion.

Berto stands 0 chance at beating someone like Pacquiao or Floyd with his current trainer thinking Berto is alright just to barge in Ricky Hatton style to eat punches. Hell, with this type of style Berto might even lose the Ortiz rematch if that ever happens.

Berto needs a BETTER trainer, I know him and his former trainer or close, but dude doesn't know **** about boxing really...

He needs Richardson, Roach, Jeff Mayweather, Floyd Mayweather SR, or even Steward, but he does need a new TRAINER!!

Even Devon's trainer is 10 times better than his.

berto needs someone to kick his lazy butt. he has no footwork in the ring ,and if the opponent does not force activity like ortiz did, he just prefers to stand there ****ing. this can work against softies with zero chins, but ortiz outworked him, and zavec put in some good defensive counterpunching. honestly the last two opponents were probably berto's toughest to date , and he didn't look too hot against either. that IBF strap is meaningless for me unless i see a rematch. berto has won it with a headbutt, not by beating his opponent fair and square.
ps: definitely not roach. roach is great when a boxer is already good and he adds the ****e. berto needs someone to spank his ass.dunno who really. those 1 mil paydays have come into his head, and i bet he's surrounded with a bunch of YES men

He also has to learn to pick his shots. Too much wasted movement. Thats why hes always off balance from a punch and why hes always gassed by the mid rounds. He comes in too aggressive too early.

So, you think its more Berto than what his trainer is teaching him?

Never really been completely convinced by Berto, he is obviously very good to get to the level he is and is a tough fight for anyone, but I think he has reached his limit and cant realistically see him improving much more.
