I agree with this. Didn't have the guts to say it tho, because I didn't want to take anything away from Berto tonight. Ortiz and Berto have piss poor defenses and Mayweather Jr. would own either of them in the ring.

berto looked like he's juicing. he looked bigger than in the ortiz fight. Zavek is not a top welter but if berto would fight a top welter he gets rocked

Berto's defense is a train wreck. Kid has no head movement and he stands flat footed and pretty squared. I'm not impressed.

Having said that if the fight continued I have no idea who would have won. Those cuts were pretty damn bad.

Berto would have won if it continued, Zaveck had horrible cuts. I don't think Zavecks cuts were from Punches tho, I think they both headbutted each other several times and one of the head clashes opened up the cuts on Zaveck.

It's easy to sit around and talk about the holes in Berto's defence but the truth is he's an exciting fighter and we all love watching him fight.

He's exciting but he does that same **** Calzaghe did in the lacy fight. They use clinching as a technique to mess up the rhythm of their opponent. I noticed that Calzaghe clinched the most in any fights I've ever seen him fight in, in the lacy fight. Except I think Berto does it in every single one of his fights, while I think Calzaghe only did it only in the lacy fight.
