Andre is Arguably the best 160 pound fighter the U.S. has had in more than a decade, Andre Dirrell, possesses the kid of “five-starr” qualities that attract an audience. In 2003, he twice decisioned the highly-regarded Jesus Gonzales, of Phoenix, Az.
Dirrell is a thinker with the ability to expose the flaws in any style. He can offer up an ambidextrous attack – switching at any given moment – and land power shots from either position. But his ability to switch – if he isn’t careful – can end up hurting him. He often switches for no apparent reason. If he is controlling the fight in the southpaw position, there is no reason to turn

I hear ya and in no way am I saying your wrong but I think we will see some more really legit contenders get their shot before Dirrell but he can definetly do it as could Ward and is'nt Dirrell fighting at 168 anyway right now?

Look for Miranda at ringside of the Hopkins/Taylor rematch. I hear he has his eyes on Taylor for a big fight early next year (If Taylor wants to take that chance). I think it would be a great fight. Every chance Miranda gets he talks how he has no respect for Taylor and would like to show him how a true champion fights. Miranda's personalty reminds me a lot of Ali. He loves to get on the mic and speak forever. Very charsmatic...

according to boxrec, miranda is schedualed to face kelly pavlik, 27-0-0, 24 ko's, in january. i know boxrecs rating systems are flawed, but they have him at 17. nevertheless, he seems like a solid competitor and should be a good fight
